Fildena is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. The active component of this medication, sildenafil citrate, is a very good treatment for men who have trouble getting or maintaining an erection. Sildenafil citrate relaxes the muscles surrounding the penile blood vessels. This facilitates achieving and maintaining an erection. Tablets containing fildena are typically given orally 30 to 60 minutes prior to intercourse. Never take more medication than your doctor has prescribed; always take it as directed.
